Privacy Policy — Assumptology

Last updated: 8 February 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Erotetic Arts Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as Assumptology, collects and uses personal data when you visit assumptology.com (the “Site”).

We aim to collect as little personal data as possible, and we do not sell personal data.

1. Who we are

Controller: Erotetic Arts Ltd Company No.: 15164003 For privacy questions or requests, contact: privacy@assumptology.com

2. What data we collect

A) Data you provide to us

Enquiries: If you email us or submit a contact form, we receive the information you choose to provide (for example, your name, email address, and message content).

B) Data collected automatically

When you visit the Site, some information is collected automatically, such as:

  • pages viewed and interaction patterns,
  • approximate location (country/city level),
  • device, browser, and operating system information,
  • technical identifiers (such as IP address) used for security and delivery of the Site.

Depending on your consent choices, some of this may be collected via cookies or similar technologies.

We use a consent banner to ask for your cookie preferences. You can accept or reject categories of cookies.

  • Strictly necessary cookies (and similar technologies) may be used for basic site functionality and security.
  • Analytics cookies are used only if you consent to them.

You can change your choices at any time by clearing cookies in your browser and revisiting the Site, and/or by using any cookie settings link provided on the Site (if available).

4. Analytics

If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used (for example, which pages are visited and how visitors navigate the Site). This helps us improve the Site and our content.

Google Analytics may process data such as:

  • page views and click interactions,
  • approximate location,
  • device and browser information.

We use Cloudflare as a content delivery network (CDN) and security provider to help protect the Site and improve performance. Cloudflare may process certain technical data (such as IP addresses, request headers, and security events) to provide these services.

We also use Cloudflare Zaraz to manage consent and to control whether analytics scripts load based on your cookie preferences.

We process personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Consent — for analytics cookies and related tracking, where you choose to accept them.
  • Legitimate interests — for essential security, preventing abuse/fraud, operating the Site, and responding to enquiries.

7. Sharing of data

We may share personal data with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Site (e.g., Cloudflare and analytics providers, subject to your consent choices),
  • Authorities if required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

8. International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection law (such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses, depending on the provider and context).

9. How long we keep data

  • Enquiry messages: kept as long as needed to respond and maintain reasonable business records, then deleted or archived.
  • Analytics data: retained according to our analytics settings and only collected if you consent.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law (including UK GDPR), you may have rights to:

  • access your personal data,
  • correct inaccurate data,
  • request deletion,
  • restrict or object to processing,
  • withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent),
  • complain to a regulator.

In the UK, the regulator is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

To exercise your rights, contact: privacy@assumptology.com

11. Children

This Site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when changes were made.
